You can manage cloud servers that do not have public IP addresses using the web VNC provided by the console by default.

When a cloud server has a public IP address, if the cloud server runs the Windows operating system, you can log in to and manage it using RDP through an enabled port; if the cloud server runs the Linux operating system, you can log in to and manage it using SSH through an enabled port.

Enable ports in the security group corresponding to the cloud server before logging in to the cloud server.

  • On the Windows operating system, use the default user name administratorand password set during cloud server enabling.
  • On the Linux operating system, use the default user name root, and password set during cloud server enabling.
